Chapel Lane Studios is a fresh, friendly and exciting recording complex situated in Hindmarsh, South Australia, just 2 km from the Adelaide CBD.Situated behind the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, it is also within walking distance to Hindmarsh Soccer Stadium and the Governor Hindmarsh Hotel. The studio is inside a sandstone Church that was built in 1882 and has an up market yet relaxing atmosphere.

People remember this building as the old "Krell Records". Some of the artist that have recorded at Krell Studios include Ben Folds for his album "rocking the suburbs", The Waifs, Savage Garden, the Test Eagles, etc. It was also the house for the Koala publication, music tutorial materials.

Today, under a new management and a new technical crew, the studio has undergone major redevelopment including the remodeling and refitting of most of its 10 recording rooms, with the addition of an in house C7 Concert Grand piano, Premier Birch drum kit and some major acoustic / cosmetic work to the building.
